Slaughter and May advised London Resort Company Holdings (LRCH) on the entry into a binding option agreement with Lafarge Tarmac Cement and Lime Limited for the purchase of 388 acres of land on Swanscombe Peninsula, Kent.
The land comprises the majority of land required for the proposed GBP2 billion London Paramount Entertainment Resort. In May 2014, the project became the first commercial venture to be designated by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project for which a development consent order is required.
